He is involved in the study of the essential oil composition of commercially important Aromatic Crops, underutilized aromatic plants in the wild, and chemotypes variants. He is also involved in the process development and standardizing of essential oil quality of economically important aromatic plants through assessing intraspecific, seasonal, ontogenic, endogenous, and storage variations.
