I lead the fundamental and applied research in the interdisciplinary field of environmental science for more than twenty-three years, looking for the valorization of waste holistically and minimizing the contaminant (heavy metals and pesticides) in medicinal herbs, along with participating in several research projects and published actively in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. My work is premised on the sustainable management of waste with the circular economy approach and cleaner production of the material. To date, I have authored more than 100 academic publications in peer-reviewed journals including Chemical Engineering, Journal of Hazardous Material, Environmental pollution, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Bioresource Technology.
