    My research group works in the areas of genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and biotechnology related to medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPS) for unravelling the biosynthetic pathways and regulatory aspects of specialized metabolism. Also, my group works in the application of derived knowledge from pathway elucidation in metabolic engineering or synthetic biology for overproduction of therapeutically and commercially important medicinal and aromatic compounds.
