Our laboratory's primary research interest lies in unraveling the enigmatic aspects of the mutualistic relationships formed between plants and these microbial endophytes, relationships that hold significant sway over plant well-being, development, and ability to withstand biotic and abiotic stresses. By delving into the multitude of endophytic communities that reside within different plant species, our research aims to decipher the intricate mechanisms of communication that lay the foundation for these associations. Through the use of advanced techniques such as metagenomics and transcriptomics we strive to uncover the intricate molecular details of these interactions, ultimately contributing to the advancement of both theoretical knowledge and practical solutions in the fields of plant biology.
